April Showers Bring May ...

...Flowers!

Spring is such a great time of year!  To make these cake pops, I used candy melts to draw the flowers on parchment paper.  Once the chocolate hardened the flowers were removed from the parchment paper and attached to the cake pops using melted chocolate.  Using a container, such as the watering can, adds some fun to this cake pop display!

Twin Cities Bakery Tour - Nadia's Cakes

Nadia Cakes opened last summer in Maple Grove.  I have since visited this cupcakery too many times to count.  Nadia Cakes is located at 11650 Fountains Dr #207  Maple Grove, MN 55369.

Here are just a FEW of the flavors that I have tried:
Almond Amaretto - it's amazing!

Cookies and Cream - you can't go wrong with this flavor!

Banana and Peanut Butter - love the peanut buttery frosting!

Lemon Drop - To date this is my favorite!  I love the lemon curd in the middle of the cupcake

LOVE

These mini cake pops were for a LGBT celebration.
I used a Styrofoam board to create the heart shape design.

The colors turned out so bright and beautiful!

And the pops were offered in two delicious flavors!

March Madness

 March Madness is here!

What better way to celebrate your favorite team than with basketball cake pops!  These cake pops were dipped in orange chocolate, coated with orange sanding sugar to add some texture, and then the lines were added using black candy melts.

Turquoise Take Two

Again, I love how bright and vibrant these turned out!
The green and turquoise gives a completely different look than the pink and turquoise.
